Alora is an undergraduate student studying Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto. Through the professional placement program, Alora will be collecting and analyzing data for growth and maturation research. More specifically, she will review Novanta Sports Performance’s current testing protocol and analyze normative data found within the literature. Through this research, she hopes to gain a better understanding of how critical growth periods relate to Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD). Alora will also work with Novanta Sports Performance athletes and conduct physical testing protocols throughout the 2023 season. As a former university soccer player, Alora is excited to work with youth looking to pursue a similar path and support their development. Additionally, Alora successfully completed the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), has previous volunteer coaching experience, and is seeking additional coaching certifications!
