Drazen graduated from the University of Toronto in 2011, where he obtained his Bachelor of Physical Education. He continued his academics at the University of Toronto and obtained his Master of Science degree from the Department of Exercise Sciences. His graduate research examined the loads basketball and volleyball players placed on their knees during one- and two-foot landings.

Since graduating, Drazen has worked as a Sessional Lecturer for the Practica courses at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education; which are courses designed to prepare students to be leaders as movement specialists; teach fundamental movement principles and skills, and to apply them to individuals of all ages and backgrounds across various settings.

Currently, Drazen is a Sport Scientist and Strength & Conditioning Coach at The Hill Academy, an independent school for student athletes. He assists with the development and implementation of the athletes’ training programs. He is also a Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Oakville Soccer Club.
